My name is Mrs. Shari Beatty, and I teach 5th Grade math and science. I joined the Anderson team in 2021, and I’m so thankful this is the school community that I found when I moved to Oklahoma! 

Here are a few “Get to Know Me Facts”:

• I’m a Kansas kid; born and raised in Emporia.

• I celebrated my 30th wedding anniversary with Keith Beatty this July.

• I have 3 children: Kati (27), Baylee (26), and Skyler (22).

• We moved to Oklahoma in the summer of 2020  (I LOVE IT!).

• I gained a son-in-law, Brett, in September 2022.

• I am gaining another son-in-law, Blake, in May 2025.

• My  1st grand baby was born this August!  (So Much Fun!!!)

• This will be my 20th year in the teaching profession!  (4th year at Anderson)

Family is everything to me, and I cherish every moment we get to be together! Teaching is such a treasured part of my life also, and I love spending my days with students, encouraging them to reach for their dreams. When I’m not with my family or in the classroom, I'll probably be out gardening or on a new traveling adventure!
