I began teaching in 2001 with a degree in Early Childhood. I achieved a Master’s Degree in Reading and obtained my reading specialist certification in 2007. After spending a few years at home raising my children I returned to the classroom here at Anderson. This will be my 6th year here. I love teaching reading, unlocking a student’s potential is exciting. Reading is the key to education.

I have been married for 20 years and have 3 children. All of my children have attended Anderson at some point. Ezra is an 8th grader at Owasso Public, Elliott is a 4th grader here at Anderson, and Carlin is home schooled (pursuing her dreams).

In my free time, I enjoy reading a good book, hanging out with my extended family, and watching my children do their activities. If you ever wonder where I am during my free time, it’s driving one of my kids somewhere.
